Do you know...

I go by Kat and on the phone people almost always ask me, "Pat?"
Anyway my name is pretty simple, but my org name is not. A lot of people seem to want to say it as Le-ann-an. Or at least the people I have talked to. I've said this before, but it's Lan-ahn or Lan-awn.
My last name is also pretty simple and it's the same as a very nice car. It would be pretty hard to mess up.

For some reason people like to call me "Missy" even when I correct them. I guess it's not all that common a name. It's nearly impossible to find personalized trinkets in the stores. But I am probably correct in stating that even if there are other Misty Caldwell's (well I know there are...) none of them would have the exact same combination as my name. I have a foreign word for a middle name I absolutely hated as a kid. I guess now that I know more about it, it's not so bad....but I still can't bring myself to tell anyone ^_^

Just looked it up, and my middle name (Asher) apparently means "happiness". I also grew up on a street whose name means "happiness" in Japanese. (Shiawassee. It's close enough to the actual word) Man, the irony's piled on pretty thick.

Well, I always like my middle name because I was named after my grandad....but thisBENJAMIN m English, French, German, Hungarian, Biblical
Pronounced: BEN-ja-min (English), ben-zha-MEN (French)
From the Hebrew name Binyamin which means "son of the south" or "son of the right hand". Benjamin in the Old Testament was the twelfth and youngest son of Jacob and the founder of one of the southern tribes of the Hebrews. This name was also borne by Benjamin Franklin, an American statesman, inventor, scientist and philosopher.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

Oh stop fuckin complaining, you've got like the most popular name in North America!!!Jonathan02us wrote:My name isnt hard to say but some people say "jon-than" instead of "jo-na-than" i dont mind or really notice but still people say it. I think people say it that way because they are too lazy to pronounce the "a" Oh well.WilLoW :--) wrote:...how to pronounce my firstname ?
it's ERWAN
how would you pronounce it?
Do you have a name that other people pronounce the wrong way ?
Sorry, had to get that out. You think you've got issues, try the name MIM SIZANA _____. God, I have the same prob as that kid someone was talking about, Adet w/e. It says my middle name on the attendance, so it's like "See..sie...suez..."
It's SA-ZAH-NA! Just like the very normal name, Suzannah.
Grr. It's good to have a unique name, but does it have to be downright weird?
And my first name is SO SIMPLE. Only idiots would not get it. Like my teachers on the first day, I correct them for 2 freakin days straight and they still call me "mime". GODDAMMIT it's just like "mimi" without the second 'i'!!!!
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
