AoiKaze:
ps. I'm not one of those people who yells out for no reason, or starts saying stuff you don't know for some reason. I'm just me, who believes in God, and loves Jesus.
See that's fine, I have no trouble respecting your opinion and listening to your beliefs. I just don't like it when I'm told that unless I go to church I'll go to hell, blah blah blah.....you know what I mean, as in: If you do not join this religion you have no chance for salvation etc etc. That's what I dislike.

I return to my veggie comment. One acquaintance of mine is a go hard vegetarian, which is fine I have no problem with that, however at lunch when I'm eating my chicken ceaser pita or tuna sandwhich or whatever I do not want to hear about what a horrible person I am for eating meat and what slaughter houses do to cows etc etc. I just want to eat my food and converse with my friends. Simple.

I love it when people try to convert me. It's so fun to screw around with them.
Unless it's something I've genuinely never heard before, then I'm all ears.

Anyways, I agree it's annoying when people try to convert you. I personally am not religious, but that is not to say I don't respect people's right to choose their religion etc etc...I JUST DETEST IT WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO CONVERT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They get warned, then I tell them nicely to get off my case, you are not going to change my mind. Then if they're damn persistant and I feel no obligation to be nice because they are not respecting my choice, I tell the equivalent of SCREW OFF! (though I've never had to use those words :P )

It's the same with vegetarians and veagans etc etc. I'm going to eat my meat and dairy, don't patronize for it!

/end comment
i do the same exact thing. my sis tried to talk to me about it becouse she is visiting now and i just asked her not to ruin the few days a year i see her so she droped it. but i do tell most ppl that are presisten to just fucl off and let me have my opinon

Well, those creepy folks on the street...

<conversation>

Creepy person: Jesus said that we should love everyone in the world. Do you think that's a good message.

Me: Uh... sure, yea.

Creepy person: Can we have your phone number?

It's so true....

Actually, if we didn't eat them then they would develop "human" intelligence, free themselves from their oppressors, set up a communist state, and then work out a deal to sell themselves back into slavery. And then we would eat them. Or something to that effect. It's been a few years since I've read the book...

There's also the whole Charlotte's Web/Babe thing going on. Y'know--if we didn't eat them, they'd train themselves to herd sheep or work a plow or yodel or something. Mostly the "or something."

Animal Farm was a great book. Though I hope you realize it was just a metaphor for the social (as in society/class, why does the word social look wrong...oh well) system.
