"My video is the end-all be-all of AMVs. It is the pinnacle of editing. It contains the meaning of life, the meaning of creation, and is the standard upon which all future AMVs must be based upon. I have raised the bar in the AMV community and it is up to all those with less intelectual and intestinal fortitude than I to oust me from my rightful place as master of the comedy category."
That, right above, is complete unadultered bullshit, and the complete opposite of how I've tried to conduct myself in regards to my video. My video is by no means a masterpiece. I got lucky, I know that, and I've been saying that repeatedly. What do you want me to say?
Want a recap? No problem.my favorite though is people telling me how full of himself he was when he won best comedy adn he gave a little speech when he got his award...
i wish i could have been there...
(Walking up on stage)
(Walking past podium to center of stage)
(Stares at crowd, crowd gives standing ovation)
(Walking back to podium, shaking Brian's hand)
(Standing to one side of podium)
"Well, I hope you're happy now."
(Walking to Left side of podium)
X: "Uh, no. Not really."
(Walking back to Right side)
"Well, you won. Say something!"
(Left side)
X: "Huh? Oh, okay. Well, uh... I'm currently unemployed right now, so if anyone wants to hire-..."
(Right)
"WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH AMVs?"
(Left)
X: "Nothing. You didn't say it had to."
(Etc.)
"What is your problem?!"
(Etc.)
X: "Sleep deprivation."
(I should've ended it right there, but like an idiot I kept it going)
"Go to bed."
X: "M'kay."
It was a very stupid speech, as was meant to be... albeit perhaps a bit too stupid. Still, I have no regrets. I had my fun.
