Wow, that's sickening. Some of those box sets come out to less than $4 a DVD

Well, that's it. I took advantage of it though I used it to buy my sister her birthday present so I didn't get Kino's Journey.

I feel so broke.

Here's a question for the people who took advantage of past sales ADV implemented before like that April Fools sales. When you guys received your order, were they in good condition? Like for example the DVD doesn't look scratched or the art boxes looked crumpled.

Yeah, the worst complaint I heard was that they drilled so far into the case's UPC that it damaged the disc. But I think that was an extreme example.

This is actually the first time I've ordered from ADV, and I know there was a warning in the fine print:
ADV fine print wrote:Unless specifically noted, products (and the accompanying packing) may be previously owned, used, demos or cutouts. Otherwise, products offered through this sale are clearance and close-out items. As such, product bar codes may be reconfigured, replaced or physically altered (including by means of cutting, punching or drilling). Some products may be open box. Some products may be delivered without full retail packaging. Except as expressly provided otherwise, products are sold as-is.
I just ordered the rest of Saiyuki...so should I be worried about damaged discs? Or will it be just the packaging that's altered?

well, I just got my discs (purchased all of NG Eva as well as Megazone 23) and all were still in shrink wrap - however, the UPC's were drilled out. So, I guess that's good, right?

Now I just got to sit my butt down and watch them all...
