Need help, w/ building my computer.
Well since all i am able to do is ask/tell about good deals im gonna ask some stuff now ^^ i know a few people on this forum build there own comps. and im building my first.
proccessor:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 165&depa=1
(i need to know if it works w/ this motherboard):
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... 190&depa=0
Those are the two that i plan to get, and i know the socket 478 thing, and that my motherboard supports celeron and pentium. But what i need to know is if there is a better and cheaper proccessor out there, and if in fact this proccessor will work on that mother board ~_~ cause u should see it aint refundable, lol.
Anyway plz tell me and give links if possible.
Oh also =) i might need alot of help while im building or something ^_^ so if someone wouldnt mind working me through it when i have problems then aim:auron1212 when u get a chance.

If you do that, be sure to add good cooling. Go for the water cooling, if you can. AMD's run hotter than Intels.madmag9999 wrote:yea they will work. but id suggest looking into getting an AMD cpu not a Intel. and i dont know if on board graphics are good enough for u but i wouldnt be to happy with them. unless u dont have the money for a graphics card that is

theres no need for water cooling. i oced my 2800+ to a 3200+ and it was still at a safe and stable temp with the stock heat sink. but i dicided to get the volcano 11 just to be safe.

water cooling!!!NOOOO
try not to use water cooling for your first if anything dont use it at all .the idea of risking all your money and time in building a computer just to fry everything with a leak or condesation is too big.Kalium wrote:If you do that, be sure to add good cooling. Re: Need help, w/ building my computer.
I heavely suggest since this is the first you'll be building that you practice with an old motherboard and Processor, install it and uninstall it a couple of times so that when it comes to the new one you don't mess it up and have to buy another Processor that stuff can happen.shinji13 wrote:Well since all i am able to do is ask/tell about good deals im gonna ask some stuff now ^^ i know a few people on this forum build there own comps. and im building my first.
