Good luck in saving for that PC... and at this rate, I fear you'll need it.
Frankly, 1000 is overdoing it for someone with no money. You could build a functional PC for a fraction of that; asking people to get you bells and whistles without any good reason is something that might be considered rude (rightly, perhaps).

$1000?! Try lower. You can get a decent computer for video editing starting at around $500.
Most of us already know all those sites. I'd also recommend Computer Geeks.
