I nearly bought Kino's Journey but I found it cheaper and complete and the rightstuf website. I did buy the Kenshin OVAs though. I already have the director's cut but it pisses me off that they actually cut off the top and bottom of the screen to make it "widescreen". Usually you go from widescreen to fullscreen with pan and scan... not the other way...
Seeing as I am using it in my next video I figure I might as well get the whole full screen.
Usually refrain from buying entire series in special deals like these because I know this means they are going to release box sets soon if they don't have box sets already.

I love ADV and their low prices ^_^! I just recently got RahXephon, Noir, and Najica all for $100. And now I'm getting Bubblegum Crisis 2040 complete for $15 and Voices of a Distant Star for the heck of it. The only downside is the big notice that it could take months to receive the sale products.

And no, I didn't just order the cards...that would have been stupid ...but yeah, they charge per item so watch out.Kusoyaro wrote:One quick tip...the super-cheap items are a ripoff because they charge shipping per item. The $1 pack of Noir cards comes out to $3 after shipping
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I usually use these to pick up the boxes for series that I like and auction off the DVDs on eBay. Not only do I get spiffy boxes with extras for series I already own, but I get the money back just by selling the DVD that comes with them( since I already own it and all). I essentially get them for free this way. =0)
