like Silencio, this is one of the few AMVs i actually classify as digital art - its very conceptual and unlike what some people have said, to me it has far more substance than most AMVs I have seen, so as a former electronic art student i shall give this 5/5 stars for its presentation =D
imho this is what AMVs should be like, good to see that the vision isn't gone yet, i hope this AMV, Silencio and even Time Waits For No One will inspire future AMVs, i found the concept flawless, congratulations on this AMV =O

A pretty good mistery amv. I know the anime from another amv and it was interessting to see it with a higher effect level.
You did a good job, but there were some parts where I think that you´ve timed wrong, too much or wrong things. 4/5 stars
It´s worth to watch it! ^^

, Wow that was very very interesting. I am really impressed. I agree with OropherZero in that after watching the video, I felt like I had seen a piece of artwork. Editing and synchronization were spot on and you managed to keep it interesting with such a repetitive piece of music. The anime seems really interesting and fitting as well. Good job

The definitive downlet of this is the fact that the fx srsly affect the visual quality, if you work with contrast gradients make sure they are already good in the sources, otherwise it looks ugly.
of course, the direct comparision to silencio is natural, but I say the video stands alone, although the effects don't look as good.
good concept, sometimes too hard transitions but nice job nonetheless
7/10

Well, it's obvious that Plain of the Shepherd is your favorite editor
Seriously though, he's probably my favorite editor as well, simply because the kinds of videos he makes are just fun to watch in about every respect. This video is very obviously influenced by his work, and it's cool to see more deliberately artistic, conceptual videos like his on the .org. This is a beautiful, incredibly well-composed video. Silencio is better (by a long shot), but this one definitely does Shepherd's work justice
5/5

I’m a big admirator of Shepherd's work, and lol I think I was been influenced :pAtomX wrote:Understandably enough, this video reminds me a lot of Silencio. Fortunately though, I like this video quite a bit more Your concept/theme was much more apparent (Silencio, while very pretty and well constructed, just lacked a cohesiveness...)
My main issue however comes to the fact that the entire REASON I understand your concept/theme is because of the small bit of text at the beginning (and the title of the video). Now, I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all. I just think it's worth noting that without that there, the video kind of falls into the same trap that Silencio does (no cohesiveness).
I'm sorry if you don't understand Obviously if I knew French better I would explain it for you, but either way, I will say, good video. I like it
Thanks AtomX !
Wow ! Thanks very much for your translation ! I think it’s correct !Autraya wrote:for 2 years now you have been getting this vague ("veiled" but i think it's like a when you see things differently and feel vague) feeling, whenever you have sleep debt/ lack of sleep.
you don't have much time to enjoy the things that interest you, work and school are not really holding much interesting for you.
You took a look at your life and you're a nightowl and thus feel pretty bad the following days after very little sleep.
Through this video you want to express that feeling of extreme tiredness.
this AMV is like the voyage (I would have said long moments) between being awake and being asleep.
you don't want to justify or explain the things you have shown in this video/clips you just did it the way that you felt, so if you don't like thier inclusion or understand them then feel free to interpret them however you want.
close i think... i think a bit off with a few parts and you are right there's one bit that's hard to translate
"You took a look at your life "
I wrote this but i think it's not right, you sorta had a look at how you were feeling and what you were doing
However, I don’t understand the end of your post sorry >_<
Thanks for your comment warheart. Yes this clip like a little at Silencio, than I told to AtomX, I think I was been influenced by Shepherd work.Warheart wrote:Interesting but as AtomX said it bears a big likeness to Silencio so I wasn't really taken by suprise but still the sources work quite good and give a little hint about "Vertigo" and the idea behind the video. Still not really my cup of tea since it's to conceptional and it lacks substance at some point although it's fun to watch so you only get 3/5.
Thanks for your comment DK ^^ And also for your translation tooDark-Krystal wrote:You already now my opinion kael, But You progress, but I don't appreciate the concept, I Find it a little boring. Anyway it's still a good video ! Nice work on it and good luck for your next.
Translation for the Concept of the Kael's video: Since two years, I know a particular feeling, the sensation of a lack of sleeping. In Fact, I just have a few time to spend time for the things that interest me (Work and school being not really interesting for me). So, I haven't a normal rythm of life. I often live more the night, so I don't sleep a lot, so You guess I hate my alarm clock, the morning. So I want ton introduce in this video this particular feeling, feeling of being really tired. This video is a kind of travel between Sleeping & Awakening.
I don't want to give explanations / justifies concerning the things I Show in my vid'. I made it with the things I feel, so if you don't understand all the video or some parts, you can interpret it as you wish.
EDIT: I guess Autraya already made the translation
Thanks for your comment Funky-kun !Funky-kun wrote:well, its god the sync (deffinately!), effects, quality, concept`n`stuff, but it just couldn'y pin donwn my attention.

I think too it’s a video conceptual, enough special. I like very much this kind of amv, I watch it generally during nights, I think it’s very pleasant and help to think about many things.OropherZero wrote:like Silencio, this is one of the few AMVs i actually classify as digital art - its very conceptual and unlike what some people have said, to me it has far more substance than most AMVs I have seen, so as a former electronic art student i shall give this 5/5 stars for its presentation =D

Concerning visual quality, editing dvd french was bad :/ I gave the best than I could concertning this. Thx =)
Yes, Silencio is better, I will claim never to better make, shepherd’s works are incredible in this style.CrackTheSky wrote:Well, it's obvious that Plain of the Shepherd is your favorite editor
