hey thanks. i cant say i wasnt a little surprised at the reaction, but then again, it didnt flow all that well. i wanted to get the translucency effect down so that made flow 10 times harder.
as for the footage, i actually do have one of the dvds (eps 1-8) and if someone can let me know how to import them that would be great

that guide section i linked you to has lot's of nifty information that can help you importing and exporting, you just need to read the ones pertinant to you
also i don't/haven't used vegas *strokes premiere* so no idea how settings work in that program. There are a vast number of people on this site who have tho so if you need help with it there's a forum dedicated to "Other video editing software".
but i say this a lot go and Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a> it helps a lot although some people find it to technical for them... I read it (several times)and figured most things out for myself through trial and error using it as a refrence, only asking for help when i got stuck
