  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Oh and don't credit me or anything for the idea of trying to practice your flow or mood synch >_<

Thanks I appreciate your interest. It might not be good, as it's just my second AMV just to warn you.
One request though, if I like it, I would like it on a VCD, but I can't use the Mp4 format.
Yes, I could do that. Would you like to have the video codec in mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 for VCD? Also, what player do you use? I should be able to do that directly from my website.

This AMV wreaks of win...

2nd AMV??? My 2nd AMV was in WMM 0_0

Boochsack rulez...

Oh this video, yeah...

Here's my thoughts

The quality was so-so 3/5

The sync was excellent 5/5

Overall 4/5

P.S. The Lip Syncing in this video seemed more like lip flap, and the part where spike was talking to jet, well there was some sketchiness near the end of that lip flap scene, I'm guessing you duplicated the same clip 2 or 3 times...

Finally a critique of my AMV here! I wonder though, should I have put a more attractive title? Oh well, I was patient enough to wait for some reviews. Yup, my 1st AMV was mostly an action sync but I realized that it was just like many out there so I tried my best to bring a good amv with this one. At the moment I am learning to use another application which will solve the quality and hopefully bring about better lip syncing.

What do you use now?

I do believe the lip syncing with spike saying "But no one would listen" was the best lip sync. However, you're correct that I duplicated one clip where he closed his mouth which made it flip back. I could have probably used a better scene but I forgot about it after trying to work on the other parts. Look at the scenery of mars and you'll notice when Spike says "neither have you" is when that occurs. Perhaps I should have slowed the motion of the mouth down a little bit.

Thanks again and I assume you don't like the song though

Song was okay, first time hearing it, I'm kind of used to ignoring the lyrics when listening to music since I don't know japanese so paying attention to lyric sync is kind of hard for me 0_0

This video was more or less good.

Though, I think maybe you should have just done an XVID conversion because your MP4 was pretty pixelated....it wasn't impossible to watch though.

I did like the song, and the video was enjoyable. Though, not very original, I mean, everyone does this kind of CB video, and you used the same parts everyone uses. Spike's eye, and then the last scene, last fight, all of that.

3/5 from me. But could you also make an XVID for me please? I wouldn't mind keeping this on VCD, but I can't do that with mp4.

Thanks. Nice job.

Thank you for the review! Well for some reason, my movie maker converts automatically to a lower compression format which is why I am abandoning it for more complicated software.

Oh really? Haha well I certainly wasn't aware of that...Do you have any examples? I don't really look in youtube for the amv's because a lot of them aren't good. For the sake of the lyrics however, I thought it was a logical progression to have spike die (if he did that is...) at the last part.

 I received your PM about deleting the MP4 but unfortunately, you shouldn't expect better quality even if it was to be converted. Perhaps it was my fault for improper usage but it automatically did it so...

I can still convert it for you though if you like. Sorry for the late response, I got this 400 page book on how to use FCE and was studying it.
