Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, since I linked it, I ended up downloading it out of curiosity. No matter how many videos I see, I just can't bring myself to get sick of Final Fantasy or Linkin Park. I'm weird like that.
It doesn't earn many points for originality. These are generic enough lyrics that you can sync them to almost any anime, but you didn't follow the lines at all. There was very little, if any beat sync. It felt like you were taking small sections of the movie and just throwing them on the timeline without cutting them up at all. Video quality was very bad, and in the darkest scenes, I could barely make out the characters or what they were doing.
This really didn't do it for me, but I hope you don't take this harshly. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, and with some practice, I believe anyone can improve. You might want to start by checking out these guides, as they will immensely help with your future editing.
Theory Primer:

This kind of like a guide that helps you see what makes certain AMVs so enjoyable. There are others like it on the site and forums, but I think this one should work for you.
A/V Tech (new beta version) :

This is the nitty gritty of technical guides. It might take a few reads through to get the information down, but it's well worth the effort in the end.
Hope this helps you out some. Just keep at it!

I know that some parts of the music video was poor quality. I've tryed my best, but overall I'm happy I coul make my vision a reality. So wish me good luck in two weeks at the anime con.
