- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

You know... Despite the sources chose and the most God-awefule opening credits (that was just..... awful....) I didn't hate the video.
Let me give you my review....
*Video quality=PHAILURE. It was aweful. WMV doesn't usually spawn holy children, but I have seen MUCH better quality videos come out of the thing. Then again, what kind of footage did you pick? DVD quality or downloaded footage? If the latter, I suggest getting the first one and quickly, because you are by no means a bad editor.
*Editing was not bad. I want to say that this video reminded me a lot of a recent release by Songbird21. In the way that it was a dramatic action/upbeat video, as well as a slow dramatic video. I actually enjoyed the the small attempt at effects at the end. It was nice, in a subtle way. However, I could very much suggest taking out any all picture-based images and the title screens. Beat sync was there to an extent.
*Originality was low. This song has been used frequently as well as with similar source footage. Though I will say I had a satisfactory grin to see HIkaru no Go, Prince of tennis and Yugioh in there. :O
*Concept kind of bugged me. It's a tribue to Shonen Jump, and that's fine. Just take out the shonen jump image at the end.
*I didn't understand the weird cropping that occured. The video si just a narrow strip in the middle of the player. I would have cropped off the black footage
*2.25: Didn't like the bars there. Kind of gimmiky and overdone.
Personally , I really liked the video. I don't know why. I distaste Sum 41. I also have seen these kind of videos before, with very similar video footage.
Still: 2.50/5.00

This was basically another action vid set to an overused song. Honestly must say I don't really watch Sum 41 AMVs, even when I first started I wasn't interested in them. Video Quality was pretty bad. Some parts worse than others. The syncing at the beginning started to turn me away but at 00:47 when Light showed up, his eyes beckoned me to stay. But there was one part that just gave me go O.o and that was 2:23-2:27, suddenly the footage basically fills up the whole thing and one thought ran through my mind, "Why does the AR change so freaking much?" Anyways, it was okay. I've seen worse...way worse.
