Good song. Good Concept. Bad execution.
*Scenes selected looked random. You go from running in the sand to random battles. Scenes also contained subtitles. Very distracting from the video. :O
*Video quality was poor. Could have either used higher quality encode or better quality footage.
*Work on sync. Either try to edit to the music, the lyrics or the emotion of the song.
*I really loved the opening scenes though. It just kind of kiltered off from then.

Thanks for the critique - like I said, this is my first video, so I'm still learning
* Really? I tried to pick scenes that matched up with the lyrics. I also tried to find scenes without subtitles - but it's especially hard with Kingdom Hearts, since all of the scenes are subtitled by default.
* Hard to get high quality footage from a game when you don't have a simulator.
* I'll work on it, although I didn't think it was too bad. Were there some specific sections that you thought weren't synced up very well?
* Thanks! :3

2. You can directly rip footage from Kindgom Hearts 1 & 2. Here's a guide to getting video game footage.
3. What bugged me mostly was the abrupt scene changes & randomness of it all. Most notably was Kairi getting attacked by heartless and then the scene changed to Riku overlooking the Dark Town. Then to Roxas fighting heartless. I didn't get the tying point.
As a suggestion for future videos, it's always good to have a solid concept to go on. For example:
jasper set out to portray the varying emotions in the video.
Or...
This video set out to be an action/drama video of sorts.
What I suggest most to you is to decide what you want your video to be and then you execute it. As well as get people to beta test it for you, so you know where you go wrong and what needs to be fixed. AMV Review offers this service, as well as several members (if you ask nicely enough(.
