  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Naruto is an anime with a large source of characters, background stories, and scenerio's than any anime i've ever seen. So i tried to soak up every litttle story in this video.
I thought everyone was doing that when they used all the scenes they possibly could from a variation of 500 episodes to some rock song.

Anyway, the editing was decent but incredibly overdone and predictable, pretty much the standard decent naruto action editing Sierra set with Phenomenon. The video was mediocre. The lyric synch was too literal at the verses, to the point where it had no point, and non-existent at all the other parts, which consisted of pretty/fighting (the "pretty" part is relative in Naruto) scenes. And the quality almost seemed like Arashinome's DBZ footage. (The frame blending was also highly annoying, you should know you have to remove that by now)
I totally didn't see that coming, bullshit from cts? Nowai!

Very nice! :D I DID notice the interlacing, however... it's simple to fix in your source footage, so please, next time, follow Ermac and AbsoluteDestiny's guide. Unfortunately I get distracted by these little aspects, and it's a shame because it doesn't have much to do with your editing intelligence (like the way you choose footage or use effects).

Uhhh... I haven't seen too many Naruto action vids.... but with the few I have seen, this video didn't strike me as 'empty'.

I didn't like the ending shot, for some reason... maybe because you can't see Naruto's facial expression?

I really like what you did with the footage of those three characters with the camera spinning around, and the characters keep changing. (with the zoom and fades to black) around... 2.28.

Waay better than I expected it to be. Glad I gave this a chance.

No one really needs to tell you this but..

A+ for effort
A for flow
A for mood sync
A for execution
A for concept
B for visual quality. Looked clean but had technical issues.
A for beat sync
A for scene selection

Yeah, really good job. Now to put this in my Naruto folder. But not good enough to be put on my top list.. maybe would if you didn't mess up on the visual quality. Took away from the joy factor. Not saying it looking good is mandatory but some videos seem to really need it.. like if you are trying to make a video angelic, bad visual quality would take the likelihood of that actually happening.

A for Concept and scene selection?... How so?

IT was a good action vid, but there was nothing really in the way of scene selection or Concept XD

I like it. Just my opinion, and opinions are not meant to be facts, so if you don't think so, cool.

I can't promise you I can forget about it. I can't even promise you I'll try, but I'll try to try.
