- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

yea that would be theory...
when it comes to editing choices and effects and sync and such everyone has a different idea of how to do it: which is the "right way" and which is the "wrong way"... really what you gotta do is learn is what you like and figure out how to implement effects in your own way...
however if there is a specific effect you can imagine but can't figure out how to do it, you might try explaining to someone what the effect is and they might be able to help you figure out how to do it, (I've helped several people figure out how to do the effects they were trying to do).
but if you want just "insert this effect here guides" then no there's really no guides on that, at least not that I know of.. Plus the process changes depending on what program you are using.
I know that there are a couple theory guides on the org about "how to sync" but really when it comes to editing choices and effects and what not, you really gotta learn how to do it yourself...

If you are really that dependent on guides I'd suggest you check them out.

Video Quality is FTL...
Yeah there is a lot of room for improvement, but then we all have room for that As far as the music going along with the video, one place to start is to really think about the song/video combination before you even start making the vid. Picking these key ingredients is more than just picking your favorite anime and putting it with your favorite song, not that that can't work, but you have to take more than just that into consideration. What is the mood of the song? Does that mood generally go with the anime that you are choosing, or at least the parts of the anime you will use? Sometimes you have to ask if there are enough scenes to fit the whole song, especially if you are using a long song. If you don't have enough scenes to work with try using a shorter song. If you are set on cutting the song at least fade it out instead of cutting it abruptly making viewers think that your video is broken and just stops out of nowhere.
Keep trying, you can only get better with more practice! ^_^
