Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I wouldnt say that its 100% synced, the only parts that I saw that could use a few touches were ryusuke and koyuki guitar shots. other than that I don't see any other syncing issues. what parts are you talking about and do you know of any amvs with excellent instrument syncing?

hmm I've been hoping to see a decent beck amv for awhile *gets *
it was ok ... lip sync could have been better and it looked like you put random scenes in there with the syncing of the instruments but some of the lyric sync was pretty good so
2/5 sorry =/

.....eh 2/5 wow I knew 2 was my lucky number but damn. I wasn't expecting this video to do so poorly, at the same time i wasn't expecting any thing great either, but wow.

maybe i should explain some things about my video that some people may not have gotten. NONE i repeat NONE of the verse lyrics are synced so everything with Koyuki speaking to Maho aren't synced at all, but the actions are. It's not supposed to be koyuki and maho in this case are actors in this is a music video. the only things that were synced was koyuki singing the chorus and the band playing, but at the end I didn't sync it because i wanted to duplicate what a lot of music videos do toward the end which is get shots of everyone in the band before the end. I took some elements from a few music videos the actual stellar video was one of them.

I will admit I could have and should have spent much, much more time syncing the instruments, but I didn't. I completed this video in about 4 hours on a Saturday.

After reading all of your comments and looking at the star scale, which so far is looking like my worst amv ever now, I decided to go back and tweak some things.

Anyways feel free to leave anymore comments

Jesus christ, please stop your bitching and some take the criticism. You got bad criticism, that means it's a bad vid.. so what? you know how to make a better vid now. and there is no use explaining anything.. I got that this was supposed to be a music video.. and that wasn't horribly done.. Just the synch was badly done, and you can say all you want "I didn't just randomly put scenes over the instrument scenes" but if you spent 4 hours it isn't gonna look good and you ARE going to hear about it. Everybody has the right to defend their amv by clarifying things or whatever, but the criticism you're getting is not in that manner, we're telling you that you were to lazy to spend time and synch a certain part up well and that's all there is to it, also just P.S. It couldn't hurt to get DVDs.. Or at least find some better shit to download.

/end random rant.

I don't recall ever "bitching" about anybody's comment as matter of fact I did agree with the criticism for the most. But I do disagree that bad criticism doesn't always mean a bad video, much like good criticism means its always a good video (thats a different topic for a different forum). I thought that just because a few spots weren't synced didn't mean that it was a 2/5 vid... I actually thought it was something else plus a few spots weren't synced that made it a 2/5 vid. I thought if i explained the video then I would get more feedback on something different.

At any rate i actually tweak the video a bit the syncing is better (I think) and i threw in a few other things I wanted to try out in this vid the first place but didnt (lazy)

anyways check it out let me know what you think.

GOSH, stop complaining about the goddamn rating.

I give MOST videos I ever watch a 2/5, even if it's not a bad video.

I hardly give out anything higher than 3/5 (which is the average rating).

Just for your whining about the rating I will go and check this out and see if it really deserves this rating.

EDIT: Ok, I give this a 2/5

I was seriously thinking of giving it a 1/5, but the fact that you were able to create some kind of mood in the video, saved you there.

Let's sum up the bad things: HORRIBLE quality, Huge frame size for no reason, parts of subtitles popping up, random black borders appearing all over the video (WTF?), bad lip synching, instruments weren't synched well with the music.

Also, May I ask why the fuck this is labbeled as "instrumental" video? It's obviously NOT an instrumental video, just because you use an anime with istruments O.o
