Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I was watching this when Aut played it and I thought I'd respond for both of us as she's lazy and withheld food if i didn't T.T.
There was no connection between the anime really and yes black cat is notoriously hard to clean (and very easy to over filter) but that said it and karas both looked pretty crappy compared to other vids I've got and seen.
Editing on Karas was better than black cat but the transition from one anime was almost anti climactic/without purpose.
I was disappointed with cutting of the song... because i noticed it, I’ve got nothing against playing with audio as long as you do it properly this just made it seem as though you couldn't be bothered editing any further. For the amount of time spent by both of you I didn't think it was good at all, however if you are both normally very slow editors then that explains a lot. If that's the case then don't try and rush a video it doesn't do you any favours, just edit at your own pace.
I'm parroting Aut here "either way they both need to work on their flow, when to swap scenes and transitioning between each scene and making sure that the motion within each clip is consistent with the speed of the music and the surrounding clips, this seems too random and lacking purpose when assembled not to mention quite choppy. Try to stick to 1 AR throughout, normally I'm not anal enough to care but it seemed out of place in this video. "
So that should give you a good idea on some things to look at improving on.

Are you being sarcastic? Because if you aren't being sarcastic, then I have no idea why you think an AMV assembled in 5-6 hours counts as slow editing. LOLAaronAMV wrote: But like I said, or atleast I think I said in the description, we only worked on it 2-3 hours each, and yes both of us are slow editors. >_<
And if you are being sarcastic, I don't even have to watch this video to know that the quality of your AMVs should improve greatly if you spend a lot more time on them. Folks can go on about AR and sync and transitions...but a lot of it comes down to how much time you're willing to invest in a project, because all of those things do take time to get right (except for those AMV prodigies out there ... or maybe just normal people...I'm unnaturally slow/bad at this stuff so it takes me 10 times as long as it should).
heh...slow editors my foot. LOL sorry...this really made me chuckle, any way I looked at it.

I think that he meant it was supposed to be something like an IC collab with a limited amount of time... and if they were faster editors, they could have done better in the same amount of time.DriftRoot wrote:Are you being sarcastic?
