Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Beginners AMV :)
This is my 2nd attempt at an AMV (the first is stuck on an uninstalled HDD); I do not create them for technicality or anything above and beyond I find it fun to do. A few friends I have shown them too enjoy them so here it is on this forum.
If you not guessed by the video, I have never had any training with the software
The point is, I had fun making it and I hope you guys have fun watching it.

That was pretty cool, especially for your first amv. You had some really nice use of internal sync, and the cuts themselves were non-predictable (perhaps a little too random, and few). I'd suggest working on making higher quality footage, there's plenty of guides around the site, and as is there's alot of macro blocking and pixelation. Still, for a beginner amv I'd say 4/5, nice job.
And win for using corpse Princess.

Ta
I reduced the file size for upload here; the original file is around 60MB (hence the _s in the file name).
It is PLAINLY obvious I only spent 15 ish hours on it with limited source material but then it was a last minute decision 2/3 days before London MCM Expo (the encode onto PSP went horrifically wrong, the middle section was always black for some reason so kinda was shown there to my friends but not in any 'good' condition. )
I'll need to spend lunch hour reading up around this site Tis good.
P.S. that is my second AMV; the first was done probably 4 or so years ago (and that is terrible but you live and learn).
