Re: Festival of Life [True Tears AMV]
Well... I was hoping for another epic cross/fade release but tbh this one really didn't deliver. It looks like you were trying something new which is cool in all but I can't really say I enjoyed this. Maybe the pacing was too fast or something. The constant scene changing and fades at a fast rate got redundant i guess. Meh I won't say don't edit to instrumental but you seem to work alot better with songs using powerful lyrics.
3/5 Not cross/fade epicness but decent nonetheless

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Yeah, instrumentals are kind of a specific genre. Good you still liked it.LeapofFate wrote:This was some good stuff.
I usually can't get into instrumental videos, but I got into it.
I liked how you layered the story and scene selection
4/5
What can I say .... maybe next time ? Im sure the next thing not gonna be an instrumental, so there's a higher chance you will enjoy. Thanks for the comment.Eva-Fan wrote:Well... Re: Festival of Life [True Tears AMV]
Solid editing
I was a bit bothered of the constant pace, could've been slower in certain parts. The video quality wasn't too great but I'm presuming that you used raws
Overall a good sentimental video

I too felt the beginning was over synced. I felt like the beginning needed to be slower so that the pace of the ending could stand out more and better capture the atmosphere overall.
I still like it though.

i enjoyed because i lub the music it but as per my lenghty QC I couldn't find the connection to the gypsy disrupting the order of the universe as set forth by Erin the goddess with the seduction of the lord of the Dance... the goddesses champion >.>
I've not seen the anime but from the visuals the connection between the anime and the actual intent of the song wasn't there.

I did not seen the anime but after your amv I really want to:D
The atmosphere was great, choice of music was really original and connect with anime just perfect.
Usually I don`t like instrumentall amvs but I really enjoyed this one!
I don`t think it's your best amv because I still adore Personal Paradise a lot more:P
So - very good work and I`m waiting for your next clip!

Nice stuff u got here.
Awesome scene choices for the most part and the mood at totally spot on.
Great song choice, the only complainment i have is the editing could use some little "slow downs" somewhere in the middle of it. For some reason, i love how u pulled 01:56 to 01:59 :O

Well I tried to follow the music with the pace, maybe I overdid it. I would lie if I said no about the raw thing,Niwa-kun wrote:Solid editing

Mmm, maybe I just didnt want to make it look a slow-motion boring sentimental video xD. Thank you for your comment Atari.LittleAtari wrote:I too felt the beginning was over synced. Yeah it wasnt there, cos I didnt even hear about this story before. Didnt check much of it background since its an instrumental = no lyric synch. I just wanted to use a song that would fit the dance genre with a more serious tone to it.Autraya wrote:i enjoyed because i lub the music it but as per my lenghty QC I couldn't find the connection to the gypsy disrupting the order of the universe as set forth by Erin the goddess with the seduction of the lord of the Dance... the goddesses champion >.>

And yes, that was the longest QC I ever got lol. I was like ..... "wth is this, something is wrong with my moniotor" when I first saw it
Nooo, you cant like that AMV more. Lies.provie wrote:I did not seen the anime but after your amv I really want to:D

Yeah, noticed more and more people tells me about "slowing down" here and there, still since I decided to keep one pace throughout the whole thing, I didnt want to change it here or there. Oh, good you liked that part, its one of the more dramatic ones :OSephirothishere wrote:Nice stuff u got here.
