Re: Downcast Eyes
I have mixed feelings about this, on one hand I like the flow with the lyric matching and mood you set, but I am disappointed with the the lack of action during the faster parts of the song earlier on. The end has a lot of action, but I felt it should have been mixed in throughout the whole video...1:30-1:44 could have used some other scenes mixed in and from 2:08-2:22 I felt cheated with the flashing white frames, but 2:22-2:34 is done much better...It does have good flow and mood, just doesn't satisfy my adrenal glands...

Its not horrible, but its not that great either. Gotta agree with joey, but I will give it a 3/5. Nice try, but the sync is a little weak, and its not very memorable.
Sorry

I actually enjoyed this, don't see what all the fuss is about. The editing was well done, definitely in line with the music. The memorability issue definitely comes up though, and that's mostly because of the very generic layout to the video - I think it's organization and story that could've made it really stand out, but it seems you've focused mostly on fitting the scenes with the music. The end result is definitely acceptable and was good to watch.

Well... Honestly I don't like the matching of source and audio here. It's not a bad video but for some reason I just dont see this song set to bebop.
3/5

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Thank you very much~ I understand what you mean. I really do need to work harder at coming up with some new ideas.Otohiko wrote:I actually enjoyed this, don't see what all the fuss is about.
