I'm not too sure why...but this made me laugh.. like out loud.

anyways.. I thought it was pretty cool at first, was really getting into it with angel sanctuary and all, but then it totally changed to mushi-shi and I can somewhat grasp the concept you were trying, but I don't think it worked out too well.

Pretty much felt like Tearx... while I understand what you where getting to plot/theme-wise... I don't think you pulled it out well enough. The various parts weren't put well together, making them feel just like different vids with the same theme, and even within the single bits I wasn't too fond of the editing besides for the Angel Sanctuary part. The text was saying something, but the scenes you used just didn't make it look that way - I couldn't get all this "this is just a dream" feeling from the scenes, hence why i think your editing didn't keep up with the wanted theme. 2/5 from me too, sorry.

Thanks for responses. It's funny you say it felt like different videos because it actually did start out as two different videos haha. I personally prefer the different editing styles per section though I could understand how that'd be a turn off to others. I'm also not surprised the mushishi/old boy part weren't as well liked as I tried editing very differently there, especially with the old boy section, going with either very long single scenes over the "heavy parts" or very frantic cuts with most not timed. Was actually funny, during the con when it went from the cut from Mushishi to Oldboy, there was like a collective "huh?" from the crowd, going from an anime girl disappearing to a live action guy standing there while the music picked up haha. I was told that was a problem to the couple people I sent the beta to, so I put the scene of Oldboy at the very start to hopefully rectify the situation, but in retrospect that wasn't enough.

After seeing your location was going to ask if you were there, but then went to your amv page and saw you were the one that won best action Very entertaining video. Good job on that. I kinda agree with your assessment that although it won action award it's not really an "action" video but it definitely warranted some kind of award. Sad that the video that won best in show isn't in the ORG, or maybe I'm just blind (pun intended?), but liked that one too. You were also the one in the Gurren Gurren cosplay right? Or was that different winner?

Cosplay? Not this year. Naw, that was someone else. Er... that was the Best Comedy/Parody, if I recall.

Exp Con? Hell yea! Not sure about a video, don't have any started. Maybe AWA will inspire me.

AFO Best In Show? Not sure. They're a frequent FL editor. They've had a video at every FL con I've been to recently. Unfortunately I'm a bit shy in person, and have never made an effort to go meet/congratulate them. So I have no idea who they are, or if they're even on the org.
