Operation Heaven's Faith Is In Full Effect!!
Faith has it rough. Not only is she being chased by the police, but the world of anime wants her as well.
Train Heartnet, an assassin and fast runner, is assigned the task of bringing Faith to his world. But, for what purpose? Train is assigned a conduit, in which allows him to maintain a sort of presence in Faith's 3 dimensional world. The conduit stays at a safe place whilst using his/her power to help the anime world maintain their presence in Faith's world.
If the conduit were to be attacked and knocked out, then the anime world's grasp on Faith's world would crumble. The anime world also seems to have a severe punishment for failure should you fail your task in the 3 dimensional world.
Not only does the anime world need a conduit to maintain it's presence, but the person traveling to Faith's world, must also rely on the power of other anime characters to help maintain his/her presence in the 3 dimensional world.
Whilst trying to secure Faith for transport back to the anime world, Train accidently teleports Faith where the conduit resides, and thus Faith then goes after the conduit. What will happen? Train tries to intervene and take Faith's attention away from the conduit, but to no avail.
But, what is this mysterious force lurking in the depths of the anime world? Why do they want Faith so bad? Is there an ulterior motive? Find out and see for yourself.

Most of the timing for this video is internal sync (Opening Doors, Sliding, Punching Etc. Etc.) While there is some scene switching to the beat, it's very seldom. Enjoy.

I'll watch when i get home...and edit this post later.
Edit :My opinion of this is the same as the beta you sent me. I don't fully understand what is going on here even though i can see an attempt at making a solid idea the quick flashes of the ideas make it hard to follow.
To quote Good Idea, Bad Execution 2/5

Very nice work, I really enjoyed that.
I loved how the clips would appear on the surfaces of where she was running and in the doorways.
I really feel I should say more, but I've really been left speechless...
Also, you are such a tease with that ending!

Yo, pretty good job as i told you during the editing process. the effects are all pretty spot on, you know this really isn't my kind of video so i can't say i felt it but from a technical POV i loved it. i'd be pretty happy to see this win some stuff for best editing.

You know... I wished you'd listened to the beta testers about the flashing anime in the buildings [still bugs me LOL].
00:00-:15 was interesting, and the scene where Faith falls through Rossette's clock was brilliantly done. But.....
Reversed Speed Chrono and slowed down speed Chrono bugged me. =(
It gets really interesting around 1:18. And that part around 1:42 after the fight scene? THAT's what I wanted to see from beginning to end. More anime and less Mirrors Edge. I think some masking of Faith in the fights and running in the black cat footage instead of that black cat guy in the mirrors edge footage [or at least a better balance of it] would have done it some nice justice.
The use of first person perspective is pretty much unprecedented in AMV's, or at least as far as I know, so kudos for originality there.
The concept was solid, but I think the execution of it just fell a little short. Oh, and the teaser at the end was really nice. =D
Also was it just me or was the Black Cat/Chrono Crusade footage just a little on the blurred side?
Still, I've been dying to see an AMV with this song, and now that you've released it, I get Carte Blanche to make my own Romance AMV to this now right?

I dunno, I actually did not enjoy this at all. I felt that the song and the video sources didn't work together at all. The song was a bit slow and gay
Furthermore, the way you mixed the stuff together felt random. Video could've been more interesting of there was a small story to it, her running away from a certain person or chasing evil or something. Some of the effects and anime flashes bugged me a bit.
Just a personal view. I had to watch this due to my love for the Mirror's Edge universe.

Your love for it and my love as well. I tried my best with it. I know it feels a little random, and I tried my damndest to try and get around the flashing anime bits, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out a way to work it in to where I wouldn't need so much flashing. It works for what I need it to, and I think the story portrays it well. All in all, I'm very proud of this vid. I appreciate all the crit. It will help for the next installment when I decide to start work on it.Ryko89 wrote:I dunno, I actually did not enjoy this at all.
