Definitely a original concept here, but the execution was really off, not that its your fault, its just too hard .
I would have rather preferred clips of the actual band, rather than watching sasuke. which at one point was just.. painful to watch, lol.
Well, for your first work this is actually really good, so keep at it.

Was enjoyable!
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.

Seriously...this amv is a perfect portrayal of everything that is wrong with AMVs today. You should all be fucking ashamed of yourselves. First off, 2 INCREDIBLY overused sources, horrible editing, terrible effect composition, fucking riot gear and preset bullshit everywhere, along with terrible masking. If the only reason you "liked" this was because you had to laugh at how pathetically terrible it is, then you get a pass. As for the rest of you...in the word's of George Carlin, "What's wrong with you people?".

I hate to be this harsh on a first video, but this video and the responses it has gotten has just baffled and bewildered me.

tl;dr

They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

I would like to apologize on Arashinome's behalf. He's in a mood. Congrats on your first video.

Alright, now that I watched it I can finally say something. Arash was kind of harsh but I can see where he's coming from. This video was certainly good for a first and definitely stands out as a gimmick, but the responses it's getting don't make much sense. This video wasn't a comedy as far as I could tell. People can't get past Sasuke playing the drums for some reason. I suppose it's a good video if you are substituting effort for talent but if not, this video has very little to offer. The lip sync is so-so, the effects are standard, and the song and anime selections as unoriginal as the premise. Overall, it's everything I'd expect from a first AMV plus Sasuke on drums. The effort is apparent and completely wasted on this video. It's spraying fanboy all over the place.

I don't really consider being able to enjoy amv's more easily then you a problem, in fact it sounds more like you're the one with the problem. Your comments about overused sources and presets and what not are pretty retarded considering it's his first video (even if it wasn't they still are). The idea of a first video is test run and see what things do and how they work. So what if he used a preset or riot gear? Does that mean you have to instantly hate it just cause it was premade? Even if an experienced editor used it, it does not mean you should just hate it. The whole idea that presets shouldn't be used is just dumb. Seriously get over your elitist attitude already and go back to the days before you became an asshole if they existed. If you didn't enjoy it that's fine, you have your reasons but calling everyone else out on your reasons alone is the epitome of elitism.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
