Hello out there!

I'm new (as the 5 post count would give away), and I have just gotten my video to load up. I'd really like some criticism on how to improve. The song is "makedamnsure" by Taking Back Sunday, btw. I thought it fit very well considering the content of the song vs content of the anime.

Please critique. The only bad criticism is no criticism.

First and foremost: use vidid code when your making announcement. What I mean is you should write this:

Code: Select all

[vidid]write here video ID[/vidid]

And video ID are those numbers at the end of your videos URL, in this particular case:174233
If you would write those numbers in vidid, you would get this:



Now then about video itself: I think you should work more on basic skills like timing for example. Now I haven't watched anime, so I can't really say if there was a concept or not, but I wasn't able to see it. Maybe I'm just so dumb But overall having a concept is really good. Another thing: your video was letterboxed, meaning it had this black border. This might happen if you set up your composition with wrong resolution or some other reason that I don't know of. Anyways, I can't really say I disliked video, you did pretty fine for your first try, keep making those.
