Sailor Moon ~ Luna MV

Hi guys ^^ I didn't see a section where new members introduce themselves so I guess I'll do it here. I go by Volpe and this is my first post here. I just created my first anime-based MV a couple of days ago and when I saw that there was an actual forum dedicated to these vids, I decided to join ^^ My fave anime series are Sailor Moon and Petshop of Horrors, but there are lots of Japanese animated movies that I like; such as Twilight of the Dark Master, Judge and many others.

Anyway, this video is Sailor Moon-related and consists of

Luna transforming into a human from the Sailor Moon S movie

w/ the Beauty and the Beast "Transformation" track ^^ I was really anal about making sure everything was in sync with the SFX and music.

Not sure why the Youtube thing is an issue but I guess, it might be because maybe certain people prefer to have anime-related music videos exclusively uploaded here or something? Oh well, in time I'm sure I'll find out the reason.

Btw, you have any criticisms of the video that you'd like to share? I'm open to criticisms because I'm trying to better myself ^^ I think maybe I could've constructed the cat Luna x Kakeru scenes in the beginning a bit better. Thanks again!

Really?? It's a classic! Man, people are missing out. Have you read the manga? It's excellent! I'm actually also trying to add the "Psycho Diver" and "Biohunter" animes to my list Maybe even "MD Geist"?

Have you ever seen "Judge" (or "Yami no Shihosha" ["Magistrate of Darkness"])? If you liked Dark Master, then I'm sure you'll like Judge. I was thinking about uploading it somewhere because not a lot of people know about it and I'd like to share it with those who haven't seen this awesome anime yet ^^

this is animemusicvideos.org because it's STRICTLY for anime music videos. live action and other non anime videos are not permitted to be uploaded to this site.

as for youtube, it's an issue of quality that many people have here. this site has a bigger degree of professionalism than the typical amv you find on youtube. so many editors here don't take it seriously simply because of the stereotype.

"Quick Comments" are an option here when you watch a new video, and are exactly like the comments youtube allows. but we also have the option of leaving detailed critiques called "Opinions", which involves scoring on several different aspects of a video that "hardcore" editors take very seriously.

i'll leave you an opinion when i get off work. it'll give you an idea of what's expected on this site.

but don't let all this "in your face" crap scare you away. i wouldn't be capable of what i make today if it wasn't for everything i've learned here.

yup .. one of six scene's within the Sailor V saga which became "Sailor Moon" the series.

The one I always loved was the time Sailor V got caught in the Barn with Grenades because
it was the only true "Sailor V" animated sequences from the original Short Stories ever animated;
"as a breeze pulled the picture from her hand, the wind played with his image as if to let her know she could not let-go of him."

okay i left you an opinion. oh and just to mention, the only source you used was Sailor Moon S: The Movie. so you only needed to list that under animes. you should still be able to change it, but the option to do so will run out.
