I have mixed feelings about this video. I enjoyed the way you matched the lyrics with the visuals and some clever edits here and there. And I was really captivated by the mood and atmosphere.
However I find the editing in many places to be poorly done. I flinched at some scenes that were completely out of context and lots of transitions were odd to say the least.
I'll give this a 7/10. Overall I really like it, but the technical flaws keep me from rating it higher. Hope to see future works from you

I used a few of my DVDs like for the Grave of the Fireflies footage because I couldnt find a decent looking copy of it to download on the net. But mostly I get my footage from torrents or veoh or places like that.. wherever I can find 'decent' looking footage
Im extremely happy a lot of you enjoyed it, even if it does have it's flaws. This video taught me a lot about timing, transitions, building mood, etc
Dont worry, youll see much more out of me later on! XD

btw, somehow I like when this video shows something else than anime intros, it feels with more spirit, ifyouknowwhatImean.

I think I'm watching a different video than a lot of the posters here.

I thought the video was excellent. Great scene selection and mood capture. When the music picked up a bit in intensity and your choice of scenes to add to the build up of the mood in the music, it matched extremely well to me. So many parts I felt just matched the mood of the music extremely well. I mean even some parts I found the mood sync so perfect for me that it made my body have this tingly sensation flow through my body. I get that when the mood of something feels great to me.

More fuel on that fire...! I think everyone nailled that one down. Heck if you can get all that wrong and everyone still loves it, you must be doing something right The most disturbing to me was the ARs.

But really the kids I play AMVs for will LOVE it. I think its a great work.
