Alright well, The editing was a little rough in some parts, and where u cropped and repeated 3 times in a part was really awkward. The song didn't turn me on, might turn on others though. I'm not familiar with the anime at all, so i'm not gonna judge on that. Anyways, u got yourself a 3/5 . nice job.

thank you for your input scalst3r. the "cropped and repeated 3 times" bit is actually a trademark so to speak from the show itself. and i'd suggest you take a look at the show, its really good you might enjoy it

Hmm, not bad, but the editing technique definitely needs improvement. Even as far as under-synched amvs go, you seemed to not hit a lot of beats or just key moments when a little more impact would've been nice. The very beginning with the black and white still-frames broke the flow quite a bit. The flow overall was pretty good and the song is really good and fits Guts perfectly.

Overall, I give it a 3/5.

thanks for checkin it out novus. i do feel even from my perspective that its a bit under-edited due to my experimentation with weird synchs n such. i wanted to try and avoid your most obvious, logical beat synchs that you would normally go after but perhaps thats exactly what i should've done instead.

ehhh not bad, screaming/rage music requires more intense editing throughout the video with hard/fast FXwork/scenes or else I have a hard time getting into them cause I just don't feel the rage from the video. Either way some of it was pretty fitting like the parts you actually used of him screaming and some of the action parts (not saying those are the only thing that will work so don't get confused). Some of the slower less intense parts would of worked better in other parts of the amv instead of the intense vocals IMO.

There were definitely times where the editing lacked some punch, but i must say, as a character profile, this video more than did it's job. I really enjoyed it, and the editing was fantastic at some parts. 3/5 is probably a good rating. Not bad, dude.

thanks for your opinions guys, really helpful. i'm not so "savvy" with FX yet, definitely something i'll take some time in learning/understanding. i recall years ago dabbling in effects and my efforts coming off as cheesy so i've just shy'd away from it ever since ^ ^
