Walking on Shonen (Dragon Ball + Halo / Walking on Sunshine)

My submission for Saboten Con 2010, it's a Goku/Chichi romance video. Wanted to do something a little different than all the fighting-heavy DBZ action AMVs you used to see everywhere (not that this doesn't have a little bit of fighting in it, but it's not the focus) and represent old-school Dragon Ball at the same time.

That was ADORABLE. By far the best non-action DBZ AMV I've ever seen. No exaggeration on this either.

The black bars on the right and left sides should have been cropped off or made uniform. There were also minor technical issues, which for the most part can be ignored and thrown off a cliff.

Scene selection and editing were fantastic. You took advantage of the music and video lightheartedness and created a fantastically flowing AMV.

I felt like things were a tad chronologically out of order and it kind of made it confusing at times for those that didn't obsess over this show like I did.

The ending was also a TAD anti-climatic with the black fade. Hilarious, but the additional 6 seconds after the audio were a tad momentum-shattering.

Overall, I can easily give this a 5/5 and not feel the least bit bad about it. The few flaws were barely noticable and don't take away from the AMV in the least.

Perils of mixing footage from a lot of different sources. I noticed this after I was 99% done with editing and was too lazy to go through and fix it for every little clip individually. (-: Something for me to remember for next time: crop footage first, edit second. Oh well. Would've liked to have had better quality footage to work with in general, but short of spending hundreds of dollars importing the Japanese DB Dragon Boxes, this was about the best I could do.
