Did I ever tell you how much I love Instrumental AMVs? Well I surely do! I can eat them up everyday for Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner, OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!

Anyways, my buddies and I found this awesome choral, instrumental piece that we deemed would be awesome AMV material.

So we came, we edited we conquered and we ate pizza afterwards with a side order of Steam Punk Anime and Airships for Dessert.

For some reason, watching Last Exile always makes me hungry. Especially when the main characters keep talking about how often they're always poor and starving >_>

Enjoy!!!

little jewel we got here, outstanding epic, you really get the feeling and atmosphere to make this peaceful to watch. I really don´t like the abuse of white and black screens, seems like a story tell by parts, but great work, I see it was a 7 months job, so congratulations for get it end  4/5

Thanks alot. I do like me some Epic AMV's. I thought I might try my hand a bit on fades, but not everyone digs them. Still, I'm glad you liked it.

Oh noez! My poor voices. Lol. I did a little voice narration with one of my older AMV projects, so I thought I might give it a go with something a little more in depth with this one. Again, it's pretty hit or miss with some people. I am glad though you like my stuff. ;)

There is but one word to describe this, and that word is EPIC. This was one seriously awesome trailer-esque AMV, and I loved every second of it.

Also, I'm pretty sure I spoiled myself silly by watching it (couldn't... look... away... :'D) but I now need to watch this anime.
Like right now. Going to marathon it. XD

By this I mean English voices. I'm the type that pretty much can't stand most English voice acting. The use of voices was really good but I just mean how it sounds in general. It's simply my own taste that likes Japanese voices more.

hmmm I enjoyed this somewhat. Don't really know what else to say about it. Had its ups and downs, had its slow dull/intense spots. I really think you could have shortened this though. Towards the end I couldn't help but get the feeling that it was carrying on without bringing anything new into it and the story just felt like it could have been easily shortened though can't say the same for the audio.

I mostly enjoyed it for the mood/operaic bits/emotions. 3/5

Not sure you will ever make a vid that I like more than "Be an Outlaw" (that vid was just way too epic, good adrenaline rush/concept/execution) but I still look forward to your works. Glad the thread got bumped or I may have missed it :uhoh: .
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Dr. Egon Spengler: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Dr. Peter Venkman: What?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Don't cross the streams.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Why?
Dr. Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Dr. Peter Venkman: I'm a little fuzzy on the whole "good/bad" thing, here. What do you mean, "bad"?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr. Ray Stantz: [low whistle] Total protonic reversal!
Dr. Peter Venkman: That's bad. OK, all right, important safety tip. Thanks, Egon

That was a pretty sweet, epic, trailerish-last exile video. Good work! Interesting use of the audio clips!

You will watch Last Exile wooooooo~~~~ ~(@_@~)
hehe seriously though, the AMV only shows a very small portion of the Anime, so there's tons more surprises and plot twists to be had if you watch it.

I was thinking about using the Japanese Voices, but then I thought: "You know, if I use the Japanese voices, I'd have to put subtitles into the amv, if I put subtitles into the AMV, the otaku population will be forced to read, if they're forced to read they'll get smarter, if they get smarter the Otaku's of the world will invent some sort of loli-immortality device that will cause all the women of the world to stop aging at 10 years old, effectively turning planet earth into a world of female loli's!" (Anime reference, you know which anime I'm talking about. ;) So for the sake of our planet's future, I decided to go with English. >_>
