New video: Final Fantasy 7 - Nemo (focus on Sephiroth)
This is a new video I made (my 11th AMV I think) that I hope brings some originality back to FF7 videos. I and others have made plenty of videos about the heroes of the FF7 saga, but there aren't very many about the villains. So I made this video focusing on Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Genesis (though mainly Sephiroth/Kadaj) using footage from Advent Children Complete and Crisis Core set to the song "Nemo" by Nightwish.
I like AMVs with philosophical depth, and I made this video at the suggestion of a user on YouTube who is studying religious themes of angels in popular culture, and who wanted an AMV focusing on the distinct "fallen angel" imagery in Final Fantasy 7. The Nightwish song "Nemo" was perfect for this theme since it's sung from the perspective of a fallen angel longing for redemption, which fit Sephiroth especially well. As usual, I focused heavily on lyric-sync attempting to interpret the lyrics of the song through the video, and I believe it turned out extremely well.
Please check it out and let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for improving it before I try submitting it to some contests.

Hmm, so no one has any comments? The video really is worth watching, if you'll take my word for it. =)

I'll grab it since I generally like Nightwish. Will post my thoughts once it's done downloading.
Edit:
I really like seeing videos that use Crisis Core as that can be some challenging footage to even acquire in the first place (don't even get me started on making it look half decent). I think what I enjoyed the most about this video was the span of time that it covered and its focus. For example, if you had just used Advent Children as the source to make a Sephiroth video, it would have felt a little bit flat or incomplete. But because you used the Crisis Core footage mixed in with that, it really helped show us the full scope of his life and relationships with other characters in the Final Fantasy 7 story arc as a whole, which was incredibly enjoyable.
While this isn't the slickest, most complex editing in the book, some of your cross-fade decisions were interesting and there was nothing that ever reached the levels of "offensively bad". Good work
