I finally managed to watch the Betwixt and Between II AMV from start to end without flinching. Oh and, thanks again for getting me to watch that series.

School Days anime - this brings back such fond memories ~~

I'm not sure if those bloody scenes fit the whole thing BUT those are my fav. moments from that anime so I won't complain. Other than that it's a nice romance vid. 4/5 from me .

Thanks! I was really going for the storytelling, but I suppose that the ending was a *tad* abrupt. I should have included some more scenery of her delving into madness. Hindsight's always 20/20 though.

You already know what I think of the School Days one. It's really nicesu, even though I know the ending of the anime I didn't expect you using it. I was like -watches- -saad- -he's ded- o__o xD I hate Sekai though... I prefer the other girl.. xD

Right, so... eh... This (referring to Betwixt & Between II) was strangely brilliant: I sat and watched a whole romantic AMV. A whole one. No "Right, let's go make a cup o' coffee and then watch the rest." half way through. No "Nah, let's try another one." Nope, none of that. I watched the whole thing. No metal. No monsters. No robots. No ninjas. Usually an AMV lacking those ends up with the somewhat musically-&-visually-intolerant me not being too impressed--or "satisfied", if you will--und thus pressing stop. But I watched the whole thing. [The ONLY other time this happened was when I watched this other Ichigo 100% AMV... and that was only because I have a special place for that particular anime (actually more the manga than the anime) in my heart.]

Somehow, this video kept my attention; made my subconscious go "hang on, bear with the slow music, something's subtly brewing in the background"; and made me drool like a Neanderthal watching a sci-fi movie. And then, as if giving my unusual patience a wink and going "'Ere you are!", I get a good ol' Psycho climax!!

Und at the end of the day you get a confused, yet totally satisfied me wondering how you played with my head like that. I love it! Bloody Brilliant video!!!

And as for TTTWTYOT, it was also quite sweet! [-sigh- Guess I have to start watching more romantic AMVs from now on...]

Excellent storytelling on the School Days one, ending was kinda startling for me though since I never saw the anime and hadn't really expected that xD really really liked it though.

Since I'm fan of the first Betwixt and Between, it was obvious I had to download the second one. To be honest, it didn't really have the same feeling and energy like the previous one had. Although, you handle the storytelling quite well and it was interesting, I'm just not too happy of the source choice for obvious reasons...

Thanks! I totally understand where you're coming from. The theme in II Was meant to be a complete 360 from traditional romance, and while I'm glad I did it and experimented with it, I really also enjoy more cheesy, yet somewhat unpredictable romances with more energy on positive rather than negative. NEedless to say, I'm heading in that direction when I work on III.

Just watched the Angel Beats one, must say I enjoyed it immensely

I love how you talked about their horrible past lives and then how they overcame it after they died. ^^ I guess it just means a lot more to me because I've seen the series and watching this reminds me so much of the series itself because the story was so touching.

That being said, I wasn't a huge fan of the song sadly. Was still a good watch though.

Nobody loves my Anastasia soundtrack. ;____;

Great work on both videos! With Betwixt in particular: I'm not familiar with that anime so the ending was...quite interesting.

so the ending was...quite interesting.

The phrase, "if I can't have him, no one can!" Will never be the same for me.

I really enjoyed the first one. Most of my thoughts would be redundant though because I loved the story as well. The only way of giving constructive criticism is in the form of nitpicking, so you'll have to forgive me. I thought a few scenes, especially at the beginning were a bit too static. That is, that they lacked motion of any kind at all. You never did this for long, maybe even less than a second, but I would add a very slight zoom, either in or out. Not much, but just enough to give the perception of motion. That being said, it was an excellent use of juxtaposition at the end, having a a heartrending song in combination with that er "scene". I actually rarely see juxtaposition in videos, so I was very enjoyable for me.

I liked the second video as well, but unfortunately I spent the length of the video trying to place where in my childhood I've heard the singer before, and I was so keen on figuring it out that I didn't pay sufficient attention, I'll have to re-watch, hehe. I finally decided that she was a singer in a Disney movie, maybe "The Little Mermaid"?

At any rate, splendid performance on both videos!

Just finished watching the first one. I thought it was really well done, though I haven't seen the anime before. I was thinking "hey, this looks pretty interesting", but no way in hell did I expect it to end like that So looks like I don't have to force myself to watch it, but i'm sure I'll get to it some time.

Very nice mood, from what I could tell the scenes were perfectly chosen.
