I was actually replying to godix asking if that was all that made it crap in his opinion, but everybody except you and j havent complained about anything except originality and the ending a few times so it wouldnt be crazy of me to make that assumption.

Well another bleach vid but disregarding that it wasn't that bad even tho it seems it needs a little changes in sync - if sync had some pattern which isn't matching all beats in the same way (only example ) ,it would be probably less generic and stuff

I'm mildly surprised. I figured the Russians complaint would be that you didn't whore pointless 3d effects, have lots of grunge, or use some other way to make the video look like someone (probably the editor) was about to slit their wrists. That seems to be what dem commies like. Then again, I suppose I'd suppress my desire to slit my wrist by making emo videos too if I had to live in Russia. Either that or drinking vodka. Perhaps both.

Anyway, yes, the fact that I saw this video 5 years ago is what made it crap. I don't have too much to whine about with the video, but honestly, I can't say I paid much attention once I realized it's just the same old shit to a slightly different type of song though.

Is lack of originality the only thing that makes it crap? I can't disagree without looking like a douche, but I do agree. Generic action videos are like a guilty pleasure of mine, I went into this just wanting to make a kickass bleach vid to a different type of song. Looking back i guess I could've gone with a "soul groove" kind of feel but I wouldn't have finished on time and i dont think I would have been happy with it. It's something to think about if i ever revisit this source or style again, though. For now, ill mark that down as a success.

To me its the unatural flow you present, the way the scenes flowed from one to another is what makes me hate this video down to the core, the effect use looked "meh" which to the point that it ruins the visual quality(not by much, but i love nitpicking durrr). The song itself sucks ass anyway, if anything its a background video i'd watch whenever i can't take a shit to give me enough REASON TO TAKE THE SHIT.

In all honesty soup sounds like he has some personal vendetta against you more then anything. I don't really know how he can hate on your transitions, when they were extremely well done shape transitions. Yah you used blur and shit, but so does he.

As far as "The song itself sucked ass". That's an opinion. The song didn't suck, you just didn't like it.

Godix, they night have a different idea of originality than you do. I would'nt have been surprised to get better reviews if I had applied those effects.
How long did it take you to realize it? To me, this is the equivalent of an artist showing his friends a graphic pen version of the mona Lisa. Next time ill be sure to make up my own subject.

Only thing I'd like to say is that the scratching parts of the song could have been synced better but other than that it's a pretty catchy video, I seen it like 3 times already.

I can hate on the transition all i wish, in my point of view it didn't look GOOD, same thing as the song i did not like it. Which is something that should be known from the obvious "song itself sucked ass" of course its just an opinion :3
