Re: White Flash AMV
Now this is a first. I've seen a lot of concepts in a lot of AMVs, but I've yet to see one where the concept was a stock transition. I was skeptical at first, but you did it a lot of nice justice.
Now it does suffer from the "OP/ED" abuse, where utilizing a lot of very shiny OP/EDs are used for the majority of the AMV. But for this type of AMV where you're attempting a trance type video, it worked out pretty nicely.
I thought the scene selection could have used a little work though. Your category was Trance/Upbeat, but there was a lot of really dramatic scenes in there. Now a few scenes were very upbeat [especially ones with the gal and the band on stage], but a majority of it was very dramatic/sad looking. When you add Ef or Angel Beats, it automatically becomes associated with drama almost. XD So I think you might have done better sticking with a focus on either the "upbeat" or the "dramatic" side of the AMV, and picking the scenes to stick with the secondary category.
While it wasn't distracting,t here was also a matter of some of the visual qualities didn't always say constant. After story and Rumbling Hearts looked a little funky at places, while Ef/Angel Beats/the rest were gorgeous beyond belief.
Overall, I liked it. I think it was nicely done. I had a few issues with it, but on the whole I found it entertaining.

x2. My eyes are still alive so I think that's a plus already.CodeZTM wrote:Now this is a first. I've seen a lot of concepts in a lot of AMVs, but I've yet to see one where the concept was a stock transition. I was skeptical at first, but you did it a lot of nice justice.
And I didn't mind the scene selection that much since trance AMVs never made much sense to me anyway, just lots of pretty pictures. Which this had.
Btw you can just take the number at the end of your video and use the vidid tags to save typing out everything.
