Re: All That You Can't Leave Behind
Ok, one more guess then (;
After watching the amv one more time, I found that at 2:41, Vash notices a card at his feet; the cat and his card are on the table, so it must be the last card, as Vash either has Faye's card, or it was lost, discarded, etc. It's somewhere, but I don't think that is it. Vash reaches for it, but a bad guy gets it.
At 3:30, he pulls the card out of his jacket, and in the very next scene, a gun is also pulled.
So I think the last card could be this image of the gun:
However, at 3:23, you can see Faye holding the card.
The very next scene is this one:
But that doesn't look like it'd be on a card, so perhaps the next scene:
Due to the focus on the gun in the first picture, I'm lead to believe that is the gun.
However, Faye is also seen with the card (though it's hardly noticeable), so it could also be their silhouettes too.
I'll stick with the first one, just because it's a bit more obvious.
If neither, I'll just wait til someone else finds it haha.

Taite, you wrong with your guess. But if you were to pick other choice, then you might be a winner, actually. )

Re: All That You Can't Leave Behind
I really enjoyed this AMV. I've always been a sucker for crossovers, and this is the best-done video crossover I've ever seen. Especially good job on adjusting the light levels on the masked characters.
Saying: "The last card is Vash and Faye pointing theirs guns at each other, as they do in the last scene" feels like cheating off of Taite's work.
The first card is turned up on the table, neither Vash nor Faye really interacts with it. The second card (Faye) is thrown to Vash (obvious relational symbolism, and Faye does rather show herself off), and knocks him down (she's a real knockout ). The third card, Vash, is rejected by Faye (thrown back in his face, and then a little later she walks away from him). The fourth card always has conflict around it - goons, Vash, and Faye all fight over and around it. In that way, I would say it symbolizes their relationship, which, in this amv, has been through, under, and in the middle of conflicts, and that it has some measure of peace, since the two of them are always striving for closure and to move on from their unfortunate pasts.
The fourth card is a combination of the second and third cards. Vash and Faye are sitting together. (Rest after conflict, conclusion of the romance, more static and longer lasting than the kiss, and thus more worth fighting over.)
It's worth a shot.
Once someone guesses it, could you please post a picture of this card's face?

OK, I'll take a shot. Since clubs can symbolise luck, I'll say the last card is Vash's revolver with one last lucky bullet in it.

Kosmit, nope!
Is it really that hard to guess?
