Re: Naruto AMV - The Last
you should really add the video info to the org entry. Right now, you don't actually have a anime or song listed. You just have the title of your AMV.
I feel that the first 2 1/2 minutes of the vid could have worked very well as a Naruto x Hinata vid, but you barely showed her at all and completely ignored the lyrics and meaning of the song. That song is all about fighting for someone you love, but the vid looses its connection to it when you barely even show the person that's being fought for. I feel that it would have been better if you used some of Shippuden to supplement the scenes from the movie. Making it a Naruto x Hinata vid that spans the entire series and shows how their relationship evolved would have been a very interesting use of that song. So just try to listen to your song more and get your scenes to reflect what each part of it means.
And the song swap that you did might as well been a 2nd video. And just like the first part, I feel that it would have been nice if you had used footage from the show and showed how their relationship developed. This would have given you more footage to work with and allowed you to make your scenes shorter. For example: The scene of them swimming through/ running through their memories lasted for over 2 minutes. At that point, its no different than just watching the movie without dialogue. Even for a super slow AMV, having your scenes be longer than 10 seconds is usually a absolute no no.
You learn all of this stuff as you edit more and watch AMVs from other people. So keep it up and welcome to our community

Re: Naruto AMV - The Last
Whoa, Naruto looks like Eminem...
Without knowing the footage (i.e. how much you've edited it, or whether it was one continuous scene), or the song, or the story... the way you've edited seems to be consistent with the emotional content of the song. ^^
I agree that it's better to have a second video... or at least it would have been interesting to know why you made the choice to combine it into one. It seemed a little too long for each section to combine, I guess. My gut feeling, though.
Well, feedback... it's always nice to think of ways to improve... erm... nothing sticks out like a sore thumb in the vid, so that's good. Perhaps the description? "It's my first AMV" doesn't have anything to do with the content. Description could be why you made these choices i.e. characters and songs, or what you were hoping to accomplish/highlight in their relationship through this vid.
Welcome! ^^
