Re: Fate/Stay Night - Fate/Zero AMV - All Feedback Welcomed
Well your AMV certainly had it's moments. I particularly liked the stills of the M.C. at around 47 seconds, but there were definitely a lot more moments I enjoyed.
I wasn't a fan of some of the effects (cookie cutter and spin-y thing, I'm looking at y'all) and some of your flow felt staggered at points, but overall it was a fun watch. ^^

Thanks so much for the honest opinion. I agree with you on the flow aspect. I've been working on that and transitioning, but hopefully my next video will be better

+1 the previous comment definitely! There were definitely a lot of points where you nailed the timing, some of the fight scenes seemed especially well-synced to the beat and felt really SMOOTH flowing into each other which was awesome. Those things were so solid that the extra effects (as mentioned above) seemed to detract and distract from what you did so well. I also felt that by slipping back and forth between F/Z and FSN with not a lot of rhyme or reason I lost the story/theme and it just became too much of a fight montage with no arc behind it (they're just such different stories I think you have to be really attentive to that). I look forward to seeing more of your AMVs!

Thanks Allegoriest! I believe the story became out of tact because I chose the wrong clips. I should've chosen more powerful scenes to keep the arc together. I also try to tone down on effects because I've realized that the anime community absolutely hates them. Lol. In that same notion, in each video I like to try a new idea that I haven't done before. I came across your Kekkai Sensan and Centuries videos, they were both great. I subscribed to your channel, keep up the good work, waiting on the next.allegoriest wrote:+1 the previous comment definitely! The flow was good at the faster parts because you put scenes together that had similar movements. But at the slower parts, the movements because a little disjointed. But the editing was still pretty solid overall. Not bad
