One Piece AMV - Wait For Me

Post by RiLLE » Sun Jan 03, 2016 1:04 pm

Hello! This is my first AMV ever created. What do you think? Anything I should think of next time I make an AMV?

Thanks in advance!

The main issue with it is that the audio isn't loud enough. Next time check the audio meters before rendering it all out, the bars should be like 90% green throughout the song, peaking in the yellow/orange but not hitting the red. Other than that, a decent 1st amv.

I have to agree with Unlucky Artist on the audio is much too low, it kind of makes it hard to critique it when it's so quite I can't hear anything I have no idea on how the sync is until almost a minute in when the audio becomes louder. Not bad for a first amv. I loved once the audio got louder at roughtly :44 the shot hits on the beat and at about :58 seconds the shot of Arlong those worked really well there. However the editing seems a bit slow for the song, it's okay in the pre chorus/Verse (not sure what to call that part of the song) and there are moments where your editing works really well but then it just stops to slow long drawn out clips in the middle of the high intensity action, for example at 2:25-2:33 durring the lucchi(not sure if that's how his name is spelled CP9 lepord guy) section while the music slows down a little bit you have two long clips and the action clips afterwards could probablly be cut down a bit more to make them move a bit more since you have a reaction shot cutting between Luffy punching the same punches but a different angles and as a result it seems kind of slow there too.
For a first time amv though not bad, good job.
