Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The badass crew AMV

Post by mittoh! » Mon Apr 18, 2016 3:44 pm

So, Im new here, and watching amv's for quite a while has made me aware that im nowhere near the veterans who post here! So therefore I made sure not to post anything until i was confident that it wasn't cringeworthy. (It probably still is :P ) So i present, my first AMV: The badass crew!
hard cuts and a very bad lip sync warning

I would very much appreciate any feedback possible- I cant wait to hear your thoughts! :)

Not a bad start for a first AMV. For your next vid, I think that you should just try to match the flow and pace of your song with your scenes a little more. If you nod your head or clap to the beats of the song, I think that it might help you get a better sense of the pace an movement that's needed in your clips. Hardly anyone starts off being good at flow, and it takes a while to learn and figure out, so just try to keep it in mind :D . Here is a guide on flow by Vivifx that might help you out https://youtu.be/J5Jjxb6Lw7s And here is another good guide that I think that all new editors should read http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... =2&t=92942
