With the Otakon finalists announced, and mine not making the cut, I might as well post my entry while I'm at it.
This was an idea that I had for over a decade, with me finally working on it after all these years.

nice amv, I just wish more of the scenes had more content. Some of the scenes just felt kinda flat, But technically the amv is very sound

Well, like we can't choose who we went to school with; I must say, those were some very strange combinations you've chosen!
... But, tell me; could your choices have been anymore deranged?

Re: School's Out
Quite honestly, when rewatching the video while preparing it for distribution, I agree that my video is flat in a few areas. While I could see part of it being due to the clashing of footage (i.e. 4:3 vs. 16:9), I can also see the flatness being due to the fact that while I have clever ideas forexkcal wrote:nice amv, I just wish more of the scenes had more content. some parts of the video, my attempts to fill in the blanks for the other portions are not up to par when compared to some of my other works.
The "bizarre" (especially given a couple of the sources) combination of anime choices is definitely one of my strong points in this video, as part of its concept was to mix the cutesy school girls that you come to expect in anime with the delinquents (and a certain "Great Teacher") that fits the lyrics of the song.post-it wrote:Well, like we can't choose who we went to school with; I must say, those were some very strange combinations you've chosen!
