Unexpectedly upbeat and charming, NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING from an AMV made with this anime.
Completely enjoyable and...fun? I think so! Very well edited, technically perfect, very smooth AMV, I appreciated the relatelively simple approach to this. An AMV made with this anime shouldn't feel like this (I think?) but here we are, and it doesn't feel the least bit disrespectful to the original source or overly contrived.
I even liked the part at 2:58 where the footage is slowed down, the movements here are understandably choppy-looking but the way the characters and backgrounds move here kind of syncs up with the beat of the song in unexpected ways. It has a stop-motion kind of feel to it that I really liked and I like how you varied it up in places.
