  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Non-anime - Silence Must Be Heard

Post by HMage » Wed Apr 02, 2003 11:44 am

Actually this mv was released several weeks ago, but I've forgot to announce it. Not a big problem - the release date will be today then...

LOTR-Enigma-SilenceMustBeHeard.

I'll quote the vid entry comments:

------

This is some sort of successor to the previous vid I've done. I've put more effort in making this one, and I like the way it had come out.

This one has spoilers inside, so, if you want to enjoy watching this video, I would advise you to watch the movie first. But I can't force you, so, see for yourselves.

Enigma fits REALLY well the movie, as you will see in this music video. I tried to match the lyrics as close as I could, and hope you'll like the results. Forgive me for the filesize (50Mb), but that's reasonable, and I hope it's really worth the download. I've corrected some of my postprocessing mistakes I've done in my past vids.

Also, I have coded my own AVS2AVI wrapper and used it to make this vid, since Link2 is not freeware. I needed it's functionality since I didn't have enough free space for transcoded divx avi file... You can grab it from here - http://hmd.c58.ru/files/avs2avi.zip

(update): as of 15/03/2003, I have re-encoded the video with bilinear filtering instead of sharp trilinear, now it weighs 2 Mb less.

------

Also, I'm finishing work for Spirited Away music video, with music that was remastered by myself from Purple Motion's - A Touch of Spring music (which is a tracker module in original).

I just started downloading it. I'll tell you how it turns out.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

That was kind of cool, but if you were trying to get some kind of message or theme across, it fell through the cracks.
