Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I got two of these videos.
Secret Waltz: As technically impressive as this one was, I didn't like it at all. It is amazing to see what you can do visually, but the video didn't strike me as particularly enjoyable or well-constructed. I just think this video would have been equally as impressive without the audio, and I don't really think that's a good thing.
Magic the Future: I like this one a little more; the effects seemed to make more sense, and not understanding the lyrics didn't hurt much. Not one of my favorite videos but again, the editing was really pretty.
Maybe I'm just not a fan of MADs.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I like it too. I was wondering where I'd heard the song before, but then I searched Google and found out it's on the Lost Universe soundtrack. Saw that on the International Channel (the Lost Universe anime I mean).angelx03 wrote:Hey, that Gunslinger Girl video really kicked ass!
Oh, and welcome, Pianos, it's nice to have you here. ^_^
...or anyway I'm always up for watching a good video. (why is there only one emoticon that ISN'T yellow?)
Oh, and during the two week period, try downloading direct or indirect videos. I can recommend some if you pm me. ^_^ (I'm feeling unusually helpful at the moment)
I will download the rest of those videos you posted. ^_^

Yea, that song is the opening song of Lost Universe. That's the ONLY thing that's good about the series.bubblehead wrote:I like it too. wow! What a wonderfull difference! If I'm catching on right and abstract art is the same as MADs, then I can stand them, though truthfully I DO prefer story to abstract but... It is a nice change!
Anyway missed last year, saw Waltze and decided to research, is this the only Japanese creator we have on this site? I beleive there are German ones though that is not a far stretch. Anyway I was SO excited that I just had to Necropost!!
[MOD99: I'm locking this because there's a lot of other videos that are announced here everyday, and they need love, too.]
