New Vandread/Battlestar Galactica video

Just wanted to let you all know about my new video:

"Battlestar Nirvana"

Footage is from Vandread and the music is an electronic version/remix of the original Battlestar Galactica theme music.

Careful, there are some spoilers for the end of VanDread, but if you haven't seen the anime at all, this might make you want to!

Originally I was trying to do a shot for shot remake of the original 60 second opening of Battlestar Galactica using VanDread footage. While attempting this (I downloaded a VERY poor .mov of the opening sequence to use for a template for my timing and shots) I found that the music used on the tv show was different then the full version I had on CD. So the original idea went out the window.

Never one to let a good concept die a meaningless death I changed from an exact replica to a homage piece. It really came together when I came across this electronic remix. Things started falling into place after that.
