Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My Second AMV
This is my second published AMV, and my only "announced" AMV. This is also my first post, so hello everyone!
It's entitled "Best Friend", and it's a Fooly Cooly vid. Please give me your opinions, bad or good, I don't care!

What the hell is the logic in that someone can have two 40 pixel high images in their sig, but I can't have one 66 pixel high sig? It's NOT taking your bandwidth, and it IS under your "line" limitation. God.

Yeah, I removed them and will resize them as per request...
Oh, and thanks for that WONDERFUL review. I never heard such honest criticism ever before. Last time I checked, the rules say you're supposed to properly answer the post, AND direct the n00b in the right direction. Good going.

Being an asshole is no way to get people to download your videos, especially when they're 2.5mb .wmvs...RKrenz wrote:Oh, and thanks for that WONDERFUL review. The first thing I have to say about your vid is that I've seen higher quality video.
Aside from that, I enjoyed most of your creation... Even though some of the selected scenes did not seem to match too well with the music.
All in all, I liked your vid.
PS: Try using imported video from DVD not VHS. I might be wrong but it did look like you used a tape.

Sorry about the assholeness, but someone posting in a thread all about AMV reviews and just posts telling me to correct forum mistake just got to me. It was early morning, so I was on edge. Apologies.
And if you looked closer, there are mpegs listed as well. They are hosted on my website. I have MPEG and WMVs for both my videos, catering to to different types of internet connection. Also, about the video quality. It could be that you downloaded the WMV or it could be because the only way I can import video content is through a coax capture card. But both videos are from DVD source, at the start.
And Bechstein, could you please be more specific (if possible) which scenes did not match the music. I'd appreciate it greatly.

I didn't read any "No Bump" rules in the rules, so I'm bumping this, hopefully to get yet another review, and maybe even answers to my previous post. Thanks alot.
