First AMV -- Boogiepop Phantom set to Black Hole Sun!

Post by manpurse » Sun Apr 03, 2005 3:19 pm

Like the subject says, I just released my first ever AMV. I spent many long, cold nights ripping my Boogiepop DVDs and arranging the footage. ;D

Boogiepop Phantom had just the right mood--sort of trippy, sort of dark--for Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun."

Please download it here. If you would leave an opinion, that'd be great! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy it. <3

It's pretty good, especially for a first video. Editing quality varies, some cuts are on beat, some not really. The aspect ratio is incorrect, and you should crop the black bars on top and bottom. This would reduce filesize or allow better quality as scenes with lots of black in them could use higher bitrate.
