- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I liked the way you held a consitant, specific theme with your effects and justified them conceptually with the idea of a scouter. Synch wise that was pretty badass and must've taken some serious effort, although the repatition of the hexagon effect kind of hurts reviewability for me personally. Other than that, my only real complaint is the overuse of the static transition. I understand that you wanted it to appear as if we were watching these fights through the mechanical eye of a robot, but that one transition created a lot of clutter and made it hard to tell what was going on in the actual footage (it would be like, 2.5 seconds of being able to see the fights, followed by 1 second of pure static, which felt like slightly too much to me).
Still, it was an enjoyable video and its obvious that you worked really hard on it. Good stuff.

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

ditto - the one comment I'd add it that I was expecting at the end the vid would then conclude with a similar scene as the begining (back to talking anime again), just to add some closure to it.SnhKnives wrote:ah, you finally announced it.
I thought this video was very technically impressive. I thought the video perhaps didnt have any sense of direction or story telling, but if it wasnt meant for these things than thats just fine. I can tell you put alot of work into this. If you enjoyed making it then good job ^^
but yes, a very WOW vid...
