- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Here is my first video on a new computer. It's been quite a while since I've made a vid, so I felt a little rusty.
Please let me know what you guys think.

The artist is Disturbed. A quick google search on the lyrics "or else you will dig my grave" brought it up on the first page second result ;p
The video itself is so so, Mainly next time turn off the divx logo before editing to divx files, second, its a bit hard to unerstand all the lyrics, but I felt there wasn't enough attention payed to the lyrics, Some of it felt more like random clips to music. The clips on their own do seem to tell the story of vicious, it just doesn't match the audio scene for scene close enough for me. Thrid, the visual quality leaves something to be desired, but I wasn't expecting any better than what I got from a 15 meg wmv. Timming however was actually better than I was expecting, so good job on that.

Thanks for the reply and your honesty.
I'm not entirely happy with it myself, but I had to make do with what I had on my computer at the time. such as being confined to windows movie maker...
I lent my CB DVDs out to a friend and I haven't got them back yet.
Just a quick question, how does one turn off the divx logo? It bugs me alot, but I don't know how to get rid of it.

The artist is KORN, not Disturbed. Disturbed has such a unique sound, so its hard to mistake them for anyone else. Don't always trust the quick info when searching on google. (You know better Bakadeshi, hehe ^_^!) As for the video, it wasn't bad, but quality is my only big gripe.
To turn off the DivX logo, go into your start menu, DivX, DivX Codec, then Decoder Configuration Utility. From that, go to the Toolbar tab, and on the bottom uncheck "Show DivX Logo Watermark". (FYI, I'm using DivX 6.11)

Insert clever text/image here.

Well, if you want to be picky about it, the music and lyrics are by Jonathan Davis of Korn and Richard Gibbs (formerly of Oingo Boingo), the intruments are performed by various members of Korn (Head & Munky: Guitars, Jonathan: Everything...) and Limp Bizkit (Sam Rivers: Bass), and the vocals were performed by David Draiman.Idraeus wrote:*corrects you all*
The film the track is from is Queen of the Damned. It is in the opening credits.
The track was in fact a collaboration between Korn, slipknot and Disturbed.
Seeing as how it was an orginal soundtrack, the most appropriate artist entry would probably be "Queen of the Damned OST"
