Anime is "Sea Prince and the Fire Child" and the old Japanese version of "Swan Lake"
I don't think alot of people know about these anime but they're basically love stories complete with the "falling in love part/trials and hardships/betrayals/complications/tragedy/and loads of LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
oh being made around late '70s early '80s there's plenty of cheezy music and lots of scenes where people are yelling out each others names. 
My AMV tribute to these anime tries to tell the story of "Malta & Syrius" and "Odette & Sigfried" but in under 5 minutes I could only tell so much.
Anime is OLD, never officially released on DVD. I've cleaned it up as much as I can with avisynth and whatnot and to me, having seen the 'before' shots the quality is great! But don't expect that clean glossy finish look.
Also...last little bit of info here...I am a simple AMV maker. DO NOT expect AMAZING effects! I like to tell stories and I like them best simple....*whispers*(actually I'm just not very good at figuring the easy way for effects..and I've been known to be impatient
