there are some very cool masks and FX and there are also some for wich i raise a eyebrow and go "why?" the why's basicly consist of the ripping open of the helmet and the firescene other then that props =]

Well, I gotta say, I was definately surprised with this one. I'm not a huge fan of your stuff KnX (not that I don't like it, it just didn't stand out loads to me before) but daymn, this vid was absolutely one of your best. The masking effects were very impressive and well-placed, they had a point to them and did an excellent job at accentuating certain aspects. I also loved the pace and flow of the video as a whole, my only complaint would be to mirror Nio's, being that some of the effects seemed 'pointless' or misplaced.
Besides that, very awsm work, definately a keeper

yeah that amv was a positive suprise

the anime, music and mood worked together well - i think i'll watch it more often the next time.

but there are some negative aspects as well: like mentioned before some of the effects weren't necessary, but they doesn't disturb neither. the bigger hiccup should be the filesize - 95,2mb for 3mins is damn much imo.

Good: LOVE the quote to start it... not some stupid philosophical jazz (o.0 >.> Judg HOLDEN) but something killer and to the point.

Bad: too many DFX, masks are VERY good, but the other stuff (ie Lucy disentigrateing every wich way) are not needed and seemed rather petty.
Also some scene selection complaints, but overall ok ;p

General: I'm known as the JJer that will NOT give perfect tens... so....

But I do LOVE the fact that this is a badASS EL video that doesn't go overboard with the gore. I like your pyrotechnic tendancys as well (cept in the Irya video...) ;p.
