Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

safav.... well I have to second War considering the quality, but I must say this was not hawt. the sync was absent too often and I think you should have pickd some more eps in order to prevent that much similiar scenes. Not a good video considering editing, but considering quality. 3/5

Yeah, I like local videos cuz they show up on your main page. To me it's like being reminded where to put your next op without being nagged -_- basically don't expect an op from me unless it's local... or it's a constant thing on my main page. direct downloads are just a bother to find sometimes. Especially if there's no bumper. Unless it's REALLY good, I don't even bother finding it in that case.

Also why not just provide even a 720x480 mpeg 2 rather than an ISO... I don't want to waste a dvd on 1 amv... maybe an svcd, but probly not even that!!

The video wasn't bad for an action video, but overall a 3/5. Video quality is obviously not an issue. However, there is no need to list what software you used in the announcement forum. Anyways, good job ^_^!

Just use a virtual drive to mount it and playback with your favorite DVD capable player. I use Daemon Tools to mount ISOs for testing when I burn DVD compilations. Still, providing an ISO for one video seems unnecessary.

WinRAR can extract from ISO files, just in case one wants an alternative to Daemon Tools/virtual mounting software.

No actual synch? That i s odd to hear.. anything that seems off it was done on purpose because I was going for something not that easy to understand in a lot of cases like the eva jumping on the ship in the beginning.. it was off in the sense of beat matching but that was on purpose..(I know that's a bit hard to understand why but oh well... hehe) almost everything was focused on the vocalization and how it was vocalized and I wanted to match to that more than anything else in the music. This is one of the only comments I've read so far... so I'll respond to what others said, just wait till I've actually looked at them. : )

In terms of synch, I thought the video was dead on in most cases. If any one can here or in an op please tell me what I wasn't syncing to that I was suppose to have synched that would be very helpful. I thought in terms of vocals it was synched very good.. in a lot of cases I ignored the beat because I don't want a bunch of flashes in my video... If I wanted to I could of made it so you all stared at nothing but basic beat synch and ignored all the other elements in the audio. :\ if someone who is really pro about that type of stuff could critique my work it would be very good for me. And if your just going to tell me to read the guides.. shut the hell up because I already know how to synch.. :p I just want to know the areas that I messed up in. Thanks! =)

Just out of curiosity, why do you think it wouldn't be? Berserk is worse, and you can have all of it on here.
